Okay, here are my random thoughts for you, in no particular order:

1. I love malabrigo too! My friend Steph just got me some for my birthday, but I haven't worked with it yet because I want to make something worthy of it!

2. My son has asperger's (I think). We should compare notes sometime.

3. I have a big ball of yarn (remember my blog post?), and I have to wash it. Do you have any suggestions? Regular detergent, or some special wool washing stuff?

hello, i come from RAK ravelry, i think i know why you don't get comments, there are no catchy photos of knit objets to look at, nor are there links to the patterns that you are knitting...
:) maybe you could add more visual rather than text and people would be attracted to read :)

Little twiddlywiddly bits of colour does my head in, so well done you for tackling intarsia.

Can't believe you've not been in a yarn shop for two whole months! That's either marvellous restraint or sheer lunacy... heh heh...

I'm sure things are going better by now, but just saw your wish list on the RAK board and wanted to drop by to give your blog some much deserved attention! :)

Also, what's this about a turtle chart? Are you making something with a turtle? I love turtles! Tell me more - I must know!

And just remember, when dealing with teens, this too shall pass. In not so very long he'll be all grown up and things will be better. :) Anyway, best of luck to you. You must have amazing patience!

I'm working on my very first colorwork project and finding it completely overwhelming. I'm not even doing anything that complicated or anything involving a chart. It's a check pattern, how much easier could it get? but I keep getting confused and picking up the wrong yarn. (BTW, found your blog through the RAK group on Ravelry...)
